How to Make a Dreamcatcher Paper Plate Craft
Step 1 — Print and color the template. Color the template pieces — the flowers, leaves, and feathers — as desired, or print it on colored paper to save time.
Step 2 — Cut out the pieces. Cut out all the template pieces, including the web strips.
Step 3 — Make the ring. Cut a hole in the middle of the 6-inch paper plate, leaving just the 1-inch rim to form your dreamcatcher ring.
Step 4 — Add flowers and leaves. Glue the paper flowers and leaves onto one side of the ring for a pretty decorative accent.
Step 5 — Make the feathers. Fold each feather in half and cut small snips along the edges to give them a frayed, feathery look.
Step 6 — Punch and string. Hole punch 5 holes along the bottom of the ring, then tie a length of yarn through each hole.
Step 7 — Add beads and feathers. String pony beads onto each strand as desired, then glue a feather onto the end. Tip: cut the strings to staggered lengths for the prettiest look.
Step 8 — Weave the web. Glue the thin paper strips across the back of the ring, crossing them over the middle to create the dreamcatcher "web."
